Sara Stiplovšek is a Slovenian artist and designer.
She completed her undergraduate studies in Visual Communications at ALUO (SI) and went on to earn a master’s degree in Design for Art Direction from the Academy of the Arts, London (UK).
 

Her work focuses on documenting and recontextualising objects and situations from everyday life. Drawn to the overlooked, she treats familiar scenes and objects as subjects of attention, revealing their quiet significance and momentary beauty. Her projects include the visual identity for Zavod Dve Luni, the design and illustrations for the book Stykani (ŠKUC), and catalogue designs for Prisotnosti and Caravan Next Photo Book (KID Kibla). She was also published in the Visual Art Journal. 

Over the past five years, she has developed her artistic practice in London. Her design background informs her artistic approach: works often begin with painting and hand-crafted processes before being digitised and further manipulated.
